Who we are

Twelve tribes. One people. Creations made with soul.

Shevatim — The Eternal Tribes

Founded on 1 April 2026

I created Shevatim to give shape to what matters to me: Torah, the tribes of Israel, creativity and the bonds between people. Since founding Shevatim on 1 April 2026, I have been building this brand day and night. I put my time, my hands and my heart into it, paying attention to every detail.

Hands, a team, an intention

All our creations are made by hand with our team. We take time to develop each design, work on the finishing and revisit what could be done better. Our aim is simple: to do things exceptionally well, with patience and soul. In every piece, I seek that chen, a quiet grace felt in work made with care.

Why the tribes of Israel?

Shevatim means “tribes” in Hebrew. The twelve tribes are the families of Israel descended from the sons of Yaakov. The Torah presents each with its own blessing. To us, this story recalls how each person can bring their own sensitivity and strength to a shared story.

אִישׁ אֲשֶׁר כְּבִרְכָתוֹ בֵּרַךְ אֹתָם

Yaakov blessed each one with a blessing of their own.

Bereshit / Genesis 49:28

This is the spirit in which we imagine Shevatim: welcoming what each person brings, building bonds and moving forward together. The colours and fabrics of our ponchos evoke the tribes; the work of our team gives this wish for unity a tangible form.

הִנֵּה מַה־טּוֹב וּמַה־נָּעִים שֶׁבֶת אַחִים גַּם־יָחַד

How good and pleasant it is for brothers to be together.

Tehillim / Psalm 133:1

Inspired by Rabbi Nachman

In the teaching Azamra, Rabbi Nachman of Breslov invites us to look for the good point in every person, and within ourselves. That attention to goodness inspires how we work together: recognising each person’s contribution, encouraging one another and continuing to create, even when the path takes effort.

Likutey Moharan I, 282 — Azamra

In the first teaching of Likutey Moharan, Rabbi Nachman connects Torah with chen, grace, and with what can reach the heart. I find inspiration here for my work: bringing intention to my gestures, seeking the right detail and creating something that can touch the person who wears it.

Likutey Moharan I, 1

I am building this brand with our team and with this intention: to bring together handmade work, a search for beauty and a living connection to our roots. This is what we want to share through Shevatim.
